Job summary
TEKsystems, supporting a client in Poughkeepsie, NY, seeks a M365 Admin/Engineer with strong SharePoint experience to administer and optimize Microsoft 365 services onsite 1–2 days per week. You will configure SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange Online, enforce governance, and automate tasks with PowerShell and Graph.

Qualifications
- Administer Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive and Exchange Online.
- Configure sites, libraries, permissions, and governance; implement retention and access reviews.
- Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell and Graph APIs; maintain operational docs.
Responsibilities
- Administer SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions, content types, and site architecture.
- Manage Teams configuration, guest access, policies, and governance controls.
- Support OneDrive administration, sharing controls, and storage management.
- Oversee Exchange Online settings, mail flow, and mailbox support.
- Implement Entra ID user, group, license, and access management.
- Configure and monitor Purview for compliance reporting and DLP.
- Monitor service health, adoption metrics, and license consumption; escalate as needed.
- Collaborate with IT Security, Legal, and stakeholders to meet regulatory requirements.
