Job summary
Yoh, a Day & Zimmermann company in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Microsoft 365/Exchange Engineer to manage Exchange Online, on-prem Exchange, and Teams governance within a hybrid environment.
The role focuses on security, compliance, and enterprise collaboration integrations, with strong expertise in Purview, Defender for Cloud, and Entra ID. Hybrid work is supported with 3 days onsite.
Qualifications
- Deep expertise in Exchange Online and on-prem Exchange administration.
- Strong knowledge of Teams governance and SaaS integrations (Jira, ServiceNow).
- Experience with Purview retention policies, Defender for Office 365, and Entra ID.
Responsibilities
- Manage Exchange Online and on-prem environments, mail flow, hybrid configurations, and security hardening.
- Implement and maintain EOP and Defender for Office 365 policies including anti-spam/phishing, Safe Links/Attachments.
- Troubleshoot mail delivery, transport rules, connectors, DKIM/DMARC/SPF, and hybrid mail flow.
- Configure Teams governance, policies, lifecycle, external/guest access, and collaboration settings.
- Drive adoption of Jira and ServiceNow integrations within Teams.
- Assist with Entra ID administration, SSO, and Conditional Access configurations.
- Automate tasks with PowerShell for M365 and Azure environments.
- Document configurations, troubleshooting steps, and changes.
