Qualifications

• MSW from CSWE-accredited program.
• 2+ years post-MSW practice with youth or communities.
• Trauma-informed, healing-centered, youth development knowledge.
• Experience supervising interns, staff, volunteers or teaching artists.
• Partnership-building with grad programs, universities or community agencies.
• Experience designing mental health, wellness, youth development or post-secondary programming.
• Familiarity with Miami mental health resources and college access.
• Strong communication, facilitation, organization, case management and project management.
• Comfort with data entry and systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard, place, train, and supervise social work interns, Wellness Mentors, and other M-Power roles in Miami.
• Build partnerships with graduate programs, universities and community agencies for intern pipeline.
• Complete supervision and coordination requirements with graduate school partners and internship programs.
• Conduct site visits, coaching, and check-ins to integrate M-Power into after-school programming.
• Triage red flags, student concerns, and urgent wellness needs with action plans and referrals.
• Develop a regional resource map for mental health, crisis, basic needs and community supports.
