Job summary

Cardinal Health, based in Dublin, OH, is seeking a Manager, Corporate Development to lead M&A deal execution and related activities. The role works closely with external stakeholders and internal teams to evaluate deals, perform due diligence, and manage integration and separation planning.

A strong finance background and collaborative leadership are essential. The position requires 5+ years in investment banking, PE, corporate development, or M&A, with proven modeling and strategic analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, mergers and acquisitions.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, and valuation skills.
• Strategic mindset with ability to identify and assess opportunities.
• Leadership, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Lead acquisition and divestiture due diligence, valuation, pre-closing integration planning and closing processes.
• Develop business cases for acquisitions with market assessment and investment requirements.
• Identify and execute critical due diligence items impacting modeling assumptions.
• Create detailed financial models and valuation analyses to assess ROI of transactions.
• Collaborate with Legal, Tax, Accounting, Finance and Treasury to structure transactions.
• Support communications with Cardinal Health leadership and facilitate corporate approvals.
• Coordinate integration and separation planning and transition services agreements.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and governance requirements.
