Cooley LLP in Los Angeles seeks a Resource Attorney with at least 7 years of US M&A transactional experience to support the M&A practice group. The role focuses on drafting templates, maintaining precedents, and coordinating with knowledge management and marketing teams to keep resources current.

You will monitor legal developments, prepare summaries, and contribute to associate trainings and firmwide initiatives.

Qualificações

• Licensed attorney with at least 7 years of experience in US M&A corporate/transactional practice.
• Strong drafting and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to coordinate with knowledge management, marketing, and other stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Transaction Database Management: input deal terms into the Transaction Database and coordinate with KM teams.
• Form and Precedent Drafting/Management: draft or revise templates and curate forms and know-how.
• Legal Updates: monitor developments and prepare summaries/alerts; update resources accordingly.
• Legal Education: collaborate on associate trainings and firmwide M&A education.
• Marketing/Business Development: assist with content for pitches, blog posts, and teach-ins.
