Job summary

Cooley LLP in New York is seeking a Resource Attorney to support the M&A practice by managing templates, precedents, and knowledge resources. The role does not bill time and works closely with partners and associates.

Candidates must be a licensed attorney with at least 4 years of US M&A transactional experience, strong drafting and organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate multi-stakeholder projects.

Responsibilities

• Transaction Database Management: input deal terms and coordinate with KM.
• Form and Precedent Drafting/Management: draft/revise templates and organize docs.
• Legal Updates: track M&A developments and create summaries for resources.
• Legal Education: assist with associate trainings and firm-wide education.
• Marketing/Business Development: support marketing content for pitches and teach-ins.
• Assisting with Individual Attorney Requests: provide precedents and resources.
• New Initiatives: participate in resource, knowledge management and innovation projects.
• Other duties as assigned.
