Job summary

Replit is seeking its first M&A / Corporate Development hire to build and own the function, driving acquisition strategy and execution to accelerate its core capabilities.

In this role, you will shape M&A strategy, source acquisition opportunities, and develop relationships within the ecosystem. You will work closely with senior leadership, including the CEO and Head of AI, ensuring seamless transaction execution while building a deep understanding of the AI and developer tools landscape.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development, venture capital, investment banking, or a related strategic role.
• Strong product and technological intuition.
• Demonstrated experience leading technology transactions through signing and closing.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to own complex transaction workstreams and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Shape M&A strategy and define actionable acquisition themes.
• Proactively identify acquisition opportunities aligned with strategic priorities.
• Establish relationships with founders, investors, and industry participants.
• Build and maintain a detailed view of relevant markets and potential M&A targets.
• Assess companies based on product alignment and market position.
• Own the transaction process from initial evaluation through closing.
