Job summary

Recur Software Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Investment Associate to join our founding team. You will source and acquire software companies, partnering with founders and shaping growth through disciplined M&A work.

Based in Chicago or New York (or willing to relocate), you’ll build a world-class sourcing engine, run multi-channel outreach, analyze SaaS metrics, and contribute to live deals with the deal team. This is a hands-on, entrepreneurial role with meaningful equity upside.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in growth equity, private equity, banking, or consulting.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to build rapport with founders.
• Builder's mindset with grit, resourcefulness and ambition.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational chops.
• Fast learner in a scrappy, high-velocity environment.

Responsibilities

• Run multi-channel outreach to connect with founders.
• Build genuine relationships and keep founders excited to hear from you again.
• Analyze company performance and key SaaS metrics to qualify opportunities.
• Nurture founder conversations over months or years, even when they're not ready to sell.
• Keep our CRM sharp, clean, and insightful - turning data into action.
• Work with the M&A deal team to diligence live deals and build financial models.
