Job summary

Replit is seeking its first M A / Corporate Development hire to build and own the function, driving acquisition strategy and end-to-end execution to accelerate Replit’s core capabilities. You’ll shape MA strategy, source opportunities, and develop relationships across founders, investors, and industry participants.

You will lead valuation, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and integration planning in collaboration with Product, AI, Engineering, People, and Legal.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in corporate development or related strategic roles.
• Strong product and technological intuition.

Responsibilities

• Shape M A strategy: define where M A can accelerate product and company strategy.
• Source opportunities: identify acqui‑hire, tuck‑in and large acquisitions.
• Develop relationships: build relationships with founders, investors, bankers, operators, and ecosystem participants.
• Map the ecosystem: maintain a detailed view of AI infrastructure, developer tools, emerging tech, competitors, and targets.
• Evaluate strategic fit: assess product alignment, market position, and potential value; collaborate with Product, AI, Engineering for go/no-go decisions.
• Lead transaction execution: own evaluation, valuation, negotiations, due diligence, and integration planning with cross-functional teams.
