Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A IT Senior Consultant to guide clients through IT integration and divestiture activities that drive transition readiness and long-term value. This role sits within Deloitte's M&A Offering and focuses on IT separation or integration priorities during transactions.

You will help deliver practical, outcome-focused solutions before, during, and after a deal, collaborating across teams to meet client needs and engagement objectives.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in M&A integration and/or divestiture service delivery within the information technology function.
• 4+ years of experience in one information technology domain.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 4+ years consulting or industry experience; MBA and 2+ years of consulting or industry experience acceptable alternative.
• Ability to travel up to 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients served.

Responsibilities

• Supporting mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures through IT integration and separation planning, analysis, and execution.
• Assessing applications, infrastructure, data, and IT operating models to identify Day 1, transitional, and end-state requirements.
• Developing workplans, tracking milestones, coordinating dependencies across workstreams, and identifying changes in scope or risks.
• Building business cases, financial analyses, and client-ready deliverables to support IT synergy, cost reduction, migration, and rationalization decisions.
• Working with managers and cross-functional teams to validate outputs, communicate recommendations, and deliver work aligned to client needs and engagement objectives.
