Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an M&A IT Manager to join the M&A Integration & Divestiture team within our Strategy & Transactions practice. You will lead IT due diligence, integration, separation, and transformation workstreams across mergers and divestitures, advising clients on Day 1 and long-term IT transitions.

The role requires 6+ years in IT in M&A, strong leadership, collaboration with business and tech stakeholders, and the ability to travel; the position offers a competitive US-based package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 6+ years experience in M&A integration/divestiture services within the information technology function.
• 6+ years experience leading IT due diligence, IT integration, IT separation, or IT transformation workstreams.
• 6+ years experience assessing enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, cybersecurity, and IT operating model impacts in a transaction or transformation environment.
• 6+ years experience developing integration plans, separation plans, TSA inputs, or Day 1 and Day 100 technology roadmaps.
• 6+ years experience managing project plans, deliverables, stakeholder meetings, and executive status reporting.
• 6+ years consulting or industry experience; alternatively, MBA and 4+ years of consulting or industry experience
• Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
• Limited immigration sponsorship may be available

Responsibilities

• Lead IT due diligence, integration, separation, and transformation workstreams in M&A.
• Assess client tech environments, identify risks, develop Day 1 and long-term plans.
• Manage plans, deliverables, status reporting, and cross-functional coordination.
• Develop client-ready materials: assessments, operating models, roadmaps, exec slides.
• Coach junior members and support BD, proposals, and practice-building activities
