Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) is seeking an Integration Manager - M&A to plan, coordinate, and execute merger and acquisition integrations and large-scale transformation initiatives. The role partners with executive leadership, acquired entities, and external partners to ensure on-schedule, on-budget outcomes aligned with strategic goals.

The ideal candidate will bring 8-10+ years in P&C insurance project management, experience leading M&A integrations, and PMP (preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required; MBA preferred.
• 8-10+ years of project management and P&C insurance experience.
• Experience leading M&A integrations, transformations, or large-scale initiatives preferred.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-team alignment.
• Experience creating executive reports, presentations, and project documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook.
• Proven success leading complex projects from planning to delivery.
• Strong communication, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership with results-oriented focus.

Responsibilities

• Integration Strategy & Planning: define objectives, roadmaps, timelines and governance.
• Project Scope & Requirements: define scope, objectives, dependencies and priorities.
• M&A Integration Leadership: lead cross-functional integration initiatives.
• Transformation Program Management: oversee large-scale programs and align processes.
• Resource Coordination: manage internal resources and external vendors.
• Project Execution & Monitoring: develop plans and track milestones within budgets.
• Change Management: manage scope changes and implementation activities.
• Risk Management: identify risks and mitigation strategies.
• Stakeholder Communication: provide regular leadership updates.
• Performance Measurement: use metrics to evaluate progress.
• Documentation & Governance: maintain logs, plans and governance records.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: partner with business, tech, Finance, HR and externals.
• Process Improvement: identify and implement scalable operational enhancements.
• Leadership & Development: demonstrate effective project leadership and change capabilities.
