Job summary

APi Group is seeking a proactive Corporate Paralegal to join our Mergers and Acquisitions and Corporate Counsel teams in New Brighton, MN. This role supports a broad range of domestic and cross-border transactions, governance, and corporate matters.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience in M&A or corporate governance, with proficiency in Diligent, MS Office, and legal AI platforms. Strong attention to detail and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years of substantive paralegal experience supporting M&A, private equity, corporate transactions, and/or corporate governance matters at a law firm or within the legal department of a large corporation.
• Demonstrated experience supporting complex transactions from diligence through closing.

Responsibilities

• Support attorneys throughout all phases of M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestitures, mergers, reorganizations, joint ventures, and strategic investments.
• Coordinate and manage due diligence processes across corporate records, contracts, litigation, IP, employment, real estate, and regulatory filings.
• Establish, maintain, and administer virtual data rooms with closing deliverables.
