Job summary

IMA Financial Group, Inc. is seeking an experienced corporate legal professional to provide comprehensive support in contract review, governance, and mergers & acquisitions coordination.

You will interact with clients and internal teams, assist with subpoenas and litigation matters, and help manage confidentiality for sensitive information. The role requires 5-7 years in a corporate legal environment, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting while

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of corporate legal department or law firm experience preferred.
• Experience reviewing routine business agreements for attorney review.
• Familiarity with litigation support, subpoenas, discovery, and outside counsel coordination.
• Proficiency with MS Office: PowerPoint, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with document management systems or eDiscovery platforms is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Supports and demonstrates IMA’s core values and professional conduct.
• Interacts with clients via email, phone, and in-person in a timely, professional manner.
• Provides legal and operational support to Corporate Legal with emphasis on contract review, governance, and M&A coordination.
• Assists in contract administration including NDAs, vendor, client, engagement letters, and confidentiality provisions.
• Reviews agreements for key terms, indemnities, liability limits, renewal terms, and insurance provisions.
• Coordinates with internal and external parties, including outside counsel, on subpoenas and litigation matters.
• Merges and acquisitions due diligence support, data room coordination, and document organization.
• Maintains confidentiality of privileged and sensitive information.
• Provides additional project support as needed.
