Job summary

Jobot in Chicago seeks a Corporate Associate with 3+ years of transactional experience to handle M&A, commercial agreements and real estate matters. You will work closely with senior attorneys, advise businesses across formation, growth, acquisitions and sales, and have meaningful client exposure.

The firm offers a hybrid schedule, a target 1,800 hours billable with bonuses for exceeding hours and origination bonuses for bringing in business, plus a collaborative culture and strong development

Qualifications

• 3+ years of corporate/transactional experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating sophisticated commercial agreements.
• M&A and general corporate experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with commercial real estate transactions and/or leasing is a plus.
• Strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Ability to work directly with clients and take meaningful ownership of matters.
• Collaborative personality and interest in joining a firm for the long term.
• Illinois Bar admission.
