Chicago Corporate Associate | M&A, Commercial Transactions & Real Estate | Hybrid | 1,800 Hours + Billable & Origination Bonuses
Salary: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
A growing, established Chicago law firm is seeking a Corporate Associate to join its transactional practice. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who wants meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, sophisticated transactional work, and a platform where they can continue developing both their legal skills and their own business.
You’ll work closely with experienced corporate attorneys advising businesses throughout their entire life cycle — from formation and day-to-day operations through growth, acquisitions, sales and succession planning.
The practice works with businesses of all sizes, with a particular focus on closely held and middle-market companies, and takes a highly collaborative approach across corporate, real estate, employment, tax, litigation and other practice areas.
This is a firm that places a real emphasis on career development, work/life balance and business development. Attorneys are encouraged to build client relationships and grow their own practices rather than simply service work passed down from partners.
The firm offers a hybrid schedule, a manageable 1,800-hour billable requirement, bonuses for hours above the minimum, and origination bonuses for attorneys who develop business.
You’ll also join a close-knit, collaborative environment with strong attorney retention, comprehensive benefits and a firm culture focused on developing and promoting its attorneys.
