Jobot is seeking a Corporate Associate (M&A/PE focus) with 2+ years of experience to join a transactional practice in Chicago, IL. The role offers exposure to mergers and acquisitions and private equity work, with sponsorship and a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will draft and negotiate transaction documents, perform due diligence, coordinate deal processes, and collaborate with internal deal teams and sponsors across all stages of transactions.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in corporate transactional work.
• Experience with mergers and acquisitions and/or private equity transactions.
• Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple deals and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative and client-focused mindset.

Responsabilités

• Support mergers and acquisitions and private equity transactions from inception through closing
• Draft and negotiate primary and ancillary transaction documents
• Conduct due diligence and assist with transaction structuring and execution
• Coordinate deal processes, including managing timelines and working with internal and external stakeholders
• Collaborate with team members on complex corporate and transactional matters
• Assist with post-closing matters and ongoing client advisory work
