Job summary

West Monroe's 2027 Mergers & Acquisitions Consulting Intern role provides exposure to an integrated business and technology consulting environment in a hybrid office network. You will learn to conduct operational and technology assessments, plan carve-out or merger integration transactions, and support post-close value creation across industries.

You'll assist in due diligence, develop strategic investment approaches, and apply AI-driven analytics to deliver insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in progress with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Experience leading activities or projects, plus ability to apply AI tools to workflows.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills, organized and curious about AI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional M&A teams, presenting with executive presence.
• Support due diligence site visits to assess operations and tech strategies.
• Assess investment and operating models against benchmarks and best practices.
• Deliver post-close projects to improve value creation and efficiency.
• Contribute to the development of M&A methodologies and AI-enabled delivery.
