Job summary

West Monroe is seeking entry-level Mergers & Acquisitions Consultants to join our national M&A team, serving corporate and private equity clients. You will gain hands-on experience across the full M&A lifecycle, performing due diligence, planning carve-outs and integrations, and delivering post-close value creation projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with expected graduation between December 2026 and August 2027.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Residence within 50 miles of the assigned office with a hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across client locations.
• Experience integrating AI tools into daily workflows to boost productivity.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across industry and technical domains.
• Participate in due diligence site visits to assess operations and tech strategies.
• Evaluate investment strategies by comparing models to leading practices.
• Prepare request lists, agendas, and diligence materials for engagements.
• Deliver post-close projects to improve processes and value creation.
• Contribute to West Monroe's M&A methodologies and client delivery.
• Apply AI technologies to improve insights and efficiency in engagements.
• Support creation of work plans and statements of work for projects.
• Apply AI tools to enhance insights and delivery quality.
