Job summary

West Monroe is seeking Consulting Interns to join our Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. You will work within the M&A group, serving corporate and PE clients, and gain experience in diligence, carve-out planning, and post-close value creation.

Responsibilities include supporting due diligence, developing project plans, and applying AI tools to improve efficiency and insights. This internship emphasizes collaboration, leadership, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in progress with expected graduation between Dec 2027 and Aug 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Reside within 50 miles of assigned office; hybrid work model.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% with travel expenses covered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams specializing in mergers and acquisitions with executive presence.
• Support due diligence site visits to identify operational and technology strategies.
• Assess investment strategies against leading practices and benchmarks.
• Prepare focused request lists and agendas for diligence sessions.
• Deliver post-close projects to enhance value creation and efficiency.
• Contribute to West Monroe's M&A methodologies and client delivery approaches.
• Apply AI technologies to improve insights and delivery quality.
• Create work plans and statements of work for prospective clients.
