Job summary

Carle Health in Illinois seeks a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across ages, developing and adjusting plans of care based on patient response and evidence. This PT/OT/PTA role requires strong documentation, patient education, and collaboration with the rehab team.

The position offers a full-time schedule, with M-F, 8-hour days, and a sign-on bonus. Lymphedema certification is preferred but not required, and ongoing education is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in physical therapy or related field will be considered.
• Licensed Physical Therapist in good standing (IL).
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire; CPR and AED trained.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates ability to transfer patients safely using proper body mechanics.
• Educates patients and families about treatment plans and home programs.
• Designs and implements a plan of care with measurable goals and discharge plan.
• Performs examinations, documents findings, and evaluates outcomes.
• Collaborates with care team and supervises PTA and rehabilitation technicians.
