Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan. The role involves developing comprehensive plans of care, educating patients and families, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimize functional outcomes.

Licensed PT in IL and BLS within 30 days are required. A lymphedema certification is preferred but not essential, and a sign-on bonus is offered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in IL or eligible for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement plans of care for patients across age groups.
• Educate patients and families; document progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with the health care team to adjust treatment as needed.
• Perform patient transfers with safe body mechanics.
• Supervise PTA and rehab technicians as appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and CTSCP67 documentation.
