Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist, PTA or OT to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients full time, with the potential for sign-on bonus and flexible shift options. Licensure in Illinois is noted and BLS is required within 30 days.

The candidate will design and implement comprehensive care plans, document outcomes, and collaborate with therapists and nursing staff to ensure quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed PT required (IDFPR) or PT/ PTA eligibility.
• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Active licensure and eligibility for continuing education in acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient transfers with assistance as needed and maintain safe body mechanics.
• Educate patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Develop and adjust plans of care based on patient response and evidence.
• Document care and outcomes according to policy.
• Collaborate with care teams and supervise PTA/rehabilitation staff as applicable.
