Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Physical Therapist (PT), PTA or Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our rehabilitation team. The role involves evaluating and treating patients of all ages, creating care plans, and serving as a clinical resource for staff.

Lymphedema certification is preferred but not required, with a sign-on bonus offered. The position typically follows a M-F, 8-hour day schedule and may include other shift combinations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required.
• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) license required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of start date required.
• Lymphedema certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates safe body mechanics during patient transfers.
• Treats patients with empathy and maintains patient dignity.
• Designs and adjusts a plan of care with goals and discharge planning.
• Educates patients and families using effective teaching methods.
• Evaluates findings to determine PT diagnoses and outcomes.
• Performs examinations using reliable methods relevant to complaints.
