Job summary

Ascension is hiring an Occupational Therapist specialized in lymphedema for the Milwaukee outpatient Rehabilitation Lymphedema department. The role focuses on evaluating patients, designing personalized care plans, and adapting strategies to maximize recovery and independence.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, ensure safe home transitions, and contribute to ongoing patient education and support. A strong emphasis on evidence-based practice and compassionate care is required.

Qualifications

• BLS within 1 month (30 days) of hire date.
• OT credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, cognitive, or emotional challenges and identify barriers.
• Craft and implement personalized care plans with modalities and frequencies tailored to goals.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment strategies in real time to achieve best outcomes.
• Educate families and caregivers to support safe, successful transition home.
