Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking an Occupational Therapist to focus on lymphedema care within a collaborative Therapy Services team. You will assess, plan, and implement individualized treatment to improve functional outcomes and discharge readiness.

You’ll work with physicians, nurses and therapists to coordinate care, educate patients and families, and document progress while contributing to a culture of safety and continuous improvement. New graduates welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensed Occupational Therapist in Indiana.
• Current CPR certification.
• Previous clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized OT services for lymphedema patients.
• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver skilled interventions to promote recovery and independence.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and therapists for coordinated care.
• Educate patients and families on goals, progress and home programs.
• Accurately document evaluations, sessions, and discharge summaries.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and hospital initiatives.
• Support safety, quality and continuous improvement.
