BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Dialysis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a day shift, full-time position. You will support physicians and RNs in evaluating patient health needs and performing preventative care with a patient-focused approach.

The role requires completion of an accredited LVN program and a Texas LVN license, with BLS to be obtained within 14 days of hire. IV certification is preferred and may be considered a plus in the team-based setting.

Responsibilities

Assist Registered Nurse and physician in determining the health status and health needs of patients based on interpretation of health-related data and preventative health practices, in collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of the immediate healthcare team.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited LVN program
• Valid LVN license in the state of Texas
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Preferred Job Requirements:

• IV certification
