Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Dialysis Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for the day shift in Amarillo, TX, to support BSA Hospital’s mission. The LVN will collaborate with RNs and physicians, assess patient health needs, and participate in preventive care within a faith-based, community-focused hospital system.

The ideal candidate has completed an accredited LVN program, holds a Texas LVN license, and will obtain BLS within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LVN program.
• Valid LVN license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurse and physician in determining the health status and health needs of patients based on interpretation of health-related data and preventative health practices, in collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of the immediate healthcare team.
