Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a day shift, full-time LVN for Medical Surgical Renal 6A. The LVN will assist the RN and physician in evaluating patient health needs and coordinating care in collaboration with families and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited LVN program.
• Valid Texas LVN license.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist Registered Nurse and physician in determining the health status and health needs of patients based on interpretation of health-related data and preventative health practices, in collaboration with patients, their families, and other members of immediate healthcare team.
