Job summary

SUNSETRIDGE in is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to direct daily nursing activities and supervise nursing assistants. The role ensures care is delivered in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards under the guidance of the Director of Nursing Services.

You will ensure policy adherence, participate in QA activities, and coordinate with other departments to maintain high-quality resident care. The position requires RN licensure with leadership experience, and BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure active and in good standing.
• BSN or higher preferred with leadership experience.
• Ability to interpret and enforce federal/state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Review and revise Nursing Service procedures and manuals.
• Plan shifts, services, and activities with staff.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual accuracy and currentness.
• Complete required incident and discharge reports as needed.
• Supervise resident care plans and discharge planning as required.
• Coordinate nursing services with other departments and surveys.
