Job summary

WEG Electric Corp. in Duluth, GA is seeking a Service Engineering Specialist II to join the Low Voltage Motors team.

You will provide intermediate technical support for LV Drives, Soft Starters, PLCs, HMIs, and basic MV/DC/System Drive applications, troubleshoot issues, and perform remote diagnostics to identify root causes. Collaborating with customers, field service, engineering, and quality teams, you will help deliver effective solutions, support training, and contribute to product

Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in industrial automation and motor control.
Experience with LV drives, soft starters, motors, and electrical systems.
Familiarity with MV/DC drives and system drive applications.
Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA, and industrial communication networks.
Understanding of NFPA 70E/NEC/OSHA safety basics.
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide technical support via phone, email, and remote connections for LV Drives and related products.
Troubleshoot moderately complex electrical and control issues.
Perform remote diagnostics and recommend corrective actions.
Escalate on-site needs to Field Service or Senior Support Engineers.
Support Field Service engineers with wiring diagrams and parameter recommendations.
Document interactions and resolutions in support systems.
Create technical documentation and knowledge-base resources.
Assist with customer training and onboarding.
Participate in after-hours support rotation.
