Job summary

Jackson Family Wines is seeking an Assistant Sales Associate for the Royal Division in California. You will support Account Sales Executives in key chain accounts, ensure shelf distribution, and promote new products while maintaining pricing accuracy.

The role involves building relationships with store managers, coordinating preplans with the District Manager, and attending team meetings. A valid driver's license and ability to lift 50 lbs are required; travel within CA is possible.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must possess a valid driver's license with current auto insurance and a clean driving record.
• Available for early morning hours, Monday to Friday.
• Transition into Account Executive role when openings arise, territory-dependent.
• Willing to travel within California up to 6 times per year for education and training.
• Able to repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Must reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Sales Executives in key chain accounts within the assigned district.
• Maintain 100% shelf distribution and drive new item distribution and DSD items.
• Communicate current pricing and ensure displays reflect correct pricing.
• Build and merchandise displays; stock shelves and cold boxes to Royal Wine Company standards.
• Establish rapport with store and department managers and staff.
• Plan and prioritize account activities; prepare preplans and recaps for District Manager.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to goal reviews and execution plans.
• Carry company cell phone and POS materials during work hours.
• Develop wine knowledge and sales skills to enhance professional acumen.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Royal District or Region Manager.
