Qualifications

• Extensive wine knowledge across major regions, producers, vintages and pairings.
• Several years of wine or beverage leadership experience in upscale hospitality.
• Experience managing wine purchasing, inventory and cellar operations.
• Strong guest-service presence with warmth, confidence and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain wine lists reflecting the property’s style and guest preferences.
• Lead wine purchasing, supplier relations, pricing and inventory management.
• Oversee wine storage, cellar organization and proper handling.
• Guide guests on wine selections, pairings and special requests.
• Set service standards for wine presentation, decanting and pairing across venues.
• Train and coach team on wine knowledge and responsible service.
• Collaborate with culinary and restaurant leaders on menus and tastings.
• Monitor program performance and adjust selections accordingly.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol-service requirements and policies.
