Job summary

CHANEL is seeking a Specialist, Visual Merchandising at Neiman Marcus Fashion Island to oversee VM standards in boutique hours and events, working with the Visual Lead to implement guidelines, fixtures, and window displays. The role emphasizes building relationships with boutique management and coordinating display movement with the VM Manager.

Candidates should have 2+ years in luxury retail VM, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum associate degree in Display and Exhibition Design or comparable Art / Fashion related course of study.
• Minimum 2 years in a similar position or higher: preferably with a luxury brand.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and work late nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee VM direction and guidelines to boutique team.
• Coordinate window installs and display elements with VM Manager.
• Maintain VM guidelines between floor sets and launches.
• Photograph boutique after floor/window changes and upload to Dropbox as per guidelines.
• Collaborate with Visual Merchandise Manager to ensure proper set-up of fixtures and mannequins.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and own projects.
