Job summary

CHANEL in New York is seeking a Visual Merchandising Manager for a flagship boutique, responsible for day-to-day VM execution and leading the boutique VM team. You will translate brand directives into compelling, client-centric displays that reflect CHANEL’s luxury standards and business priorities.

Operating with autonomy, you will adapt VM plans to evolving needs, partner with boutique leadership, and coach staff to maintain impeccable presentation and brand integrity across all client

Qualifications

• Demonstrated visual merchandising experience in luxury retail or client-centric environments.
• Experience leading or coordinating a VM team within a boutique.
• Strong boutique-level execution and ability to translate strategy into visuals.
• Collaborative communication with boutique leadership and staff.
• Initiative, sound judgment and solutions-oriented in changing needs.
• Excellent organization and ability to work independently while staying aligned with leadership.
• Keen eye for detail and maintaining brand image.

Responsibilities

• Lead all visual merchandising activities within one boutique in a lighthouse market.
• Own and elevate the boutique's image and presentation standards.
• Develop and guide the VM team with clear priorities and accountability.
• Translate directives into engaging, customer-centric displays.
• Provide timely feedback on execution and opportunities.
• Align VM execution with sales priorities and client needs.
• Adapt VM activities as business needs evolve while protecting brand standards.
• Facilitate VM training and morning briefs for boutique teams.
• Identify boutique-specific opportunities and deliver effective solutions.
• Ensure readiness and quality of the boutique's visual appearance.
