Job summary

Johnny Was, LLC is seeking a Store Manager for its Scottsdale store to lead a high‑performing luxury sales team and deliver exceptional client experiences. You will drive profitability, coach staff, and ensure brand standards while leveraging data and reporting tools to inform decisions.

You will recruit and develop a diverse team, manage payroll and expenses, and maintain the store at the forefront of luxury fashion and customer service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4+ years of sales management experience in luxury retail or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree in a similar field is preferred.
• Ability to analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team.
• Strong understanding of luxury fashion, trends, and visual merchandising.
• Flexibility to work demanding schedules, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store sales plan while effectively managing payroll and expenses to drive profitability.
• Staff the store and develop a high‑performing, best‑in‑class team.
• Forecast, plan and budgets to the needs of the business.
• Innovative and entrepreneurial mindset to utilize all tools within the framework of the business.
• Act as a brand ambassador in the local market/mall to drive brand loyalty.
• Understand and use all retail systems and reporting tools.
• Responsible for store inventory control and loss prevention.
• Develop a culture of trust, integrity, and excellence by modeling professionalism.
• Onboard and coach the team to meet performance goals.
