Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking a dynamic retail leader to guide a flagship store, maximize productivity, and drive clienteling, omni-channel sales, and operational excellence.

You will recruit and develop a high-performing team, analyze selling reports, and partner with visual, operations, HR, merchandising, and marketing to deliver brand-right storytelling and exceptional customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of store leadership in retail or service; luxury/premium experience preferred.
• Proven sales leadership, coaching and development, stakeholder management, strong communication, conflict mediation, time management, and data-driven decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with CRM/clienteling tools; social media literacy and understanding of live/virtual selling trends.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment,
• Strong English language proficiency. (for EU)

Responsibilities

• Model service behaviors and selling standards to provide a premium client experience.
• Drive clienteling and omni-channel strategies with CRM usage and proactive outreach.
• Empower the team to resolve customer issues swiftly and leverage live selling where applicable.
• Collect and share customer feedback and product insights with leadership.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and motivate a high-performing team reflecting brand values.
• Set goals and provide coaching and performance management.
• Build bench strength and foster inclusive culture.
