Job summary

Coach is seeking an Assistant Store Manager in New York to partner with the Store Manager to drive sales, operations, and team development. You’ll lead by example on the sales floor, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and uphold Coach’s service standards.

You will adapt across roles, recruit, onboard, and coach staff, oversee omni-channel initiatives, and collaborate with district and corporate teams to align with brand vision and store goals.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in retail or service industries; luxury/fashion background preferred.
• Strong customer focus and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to inspire and motivate teams to exceed performance standards.

Responsibilities

• Drive Sales & Strategy: support Store Manager in achieving sales goals through forecasting, planning, and category initiatives; monitor KPIs.
• Deliver Exceptional Service: create an inclusive, high-energy environment that meets service standards; resolve customer issues promptly and act as a brand ambassador.
• Lead & Develop Talent: recruit, onboard, and coach team members; foster a collaborative culture and strong talent pipeline.
• Execute Omni-Channel & Digital Engagement: support virtual shopping, clienteling, and customer data acquisition; leverage social media trends to enhance the customer experience.
• Ensure Operational Excellence: oversee policies, scheduling, payroll, HR processes, loss prevention, and visual merchandising standards; maintain store safety and vendor relationships.
• Collaborate & Communicate: partner with leadership to interpret market trends and share insights with district and corporate teams.
