Boll & Branch seeks a Full-Time Client Advisor in Chestnut Hill, MA, to guide customers through the shopping journey with personalized recommendations and genuine hospitality. The role blends in-store service, design consultations, and community engagement.

Ideal candidates bring at least 1 year in retail, strong communication, and a passion for exceptional guest experiences; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. Salary ranges reflect base pay with potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail sales experience, preferably in specialty retail, luxury retail, home furnishings, hospitality, or another customer-focused environment. Equivalent experience and transferable skills will also be considered.
• Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful customer relationships.
• Experience with consultative selling, clienteling, or delivering personalized customer service.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Positive attitude with the ability to build rapport and engage customers naturally.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, Sheets), POS systems, and other retail technology.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders or step stools, and perform in-home services, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Elevated Hospitality & Customer Experience: Welcome every customer with warmth, authenticity, and genuine hospitality; create memorable shopping experiences with thoughtful, personalized recommendations; deliver elevated experiences through in-store, virtual, and in-home design consultation; build lasting customer relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
• Drive Sales & Business Performance: Achieve and exceed individual sales goals; collaborate with teammates to deliver exceptional experiences; identify opportunities to expand sales through product education, cross-selling, and personalized recommendations; participate in community-driven initiatives to strengthen local brand presence.
• Maintain Visual Excellence & Operational Standards: Keep the store guest-ready—clean, organized, and aligned with brand standards; support opening/closing, cash handling, register reconciliation; execute visual merchandising and product presentation; uphold safety, security, and loss prevention; perform general housekeeping.
• Support Store Operations: Open/close the store as a Key Holder; operate alarm system; perform register reconciliation and daily routines; maintain store readiness across shifts; troubleshoot and escalate issues.
• Support Design & In-Home Services: Participate in in-home appointments and installations; provide thoughtful product recommendations; ensure design consultations reflect elevated hospitality and attention to detail.
• Additional Responsibilities: Work up to 40 hours per week; include evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed; perform other duties and projects.
