Job summary

Brilliant Earth is seeking a Retail Assistant Manager for our Miami showroom to lead and mentor a Concierge team delivering exceptional service to fine jewelry customers. You will drive sales and customer experience, recruit, train, and manage staff to uphold a luxury environment and brand standards.

The role is in-person, full-time, with a Tue–Sat schedule. Targeted compensation is $60,000–$62,000 annually, plus a comprehensive benefits package and growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• Experience managing people in retail or direct-to-consumer sales.
• BA degree or equivalent preferred.
• Proven track record of recruiting and growing high-performing teams.
• Strong customer service mindset in a luxury environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruitment and management of a Customer Experience team in a fast-paced environment, focused on achieving sales targets and KPIs.
• Maintain an efficient showroom and office, ensuring high standards of customer service.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions, such as diamond options and custom designs.
• Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email and live chat, upholding high standards.
• Conduct in-person appointments in our private showroom for a personalized experience.
• Design and implement efficiency improvements, policies and procedures.
• Handle escalations with operations and customer care to ensure the best outcomes.
• Collaborate with Workforce Ops to create and maintain team schedules.
• Maintain luxury showroom visuals, planogram updates, seasonal decor and signage.
• Collaborate across departments including operations, merchandising, retail ops, marketing, HR and customer care.
• Experience managing people in retail or direct-to-consumer sales; store leadership or keyholder a plus.
• Proven track record of recruiting and growing high-performing teams.
