Job summary

Bergdorf Goodman, a flagship luxury retailer, seeks a Sales Advisor in New York to deliver exceptional client experiences while driving personal and team sales. This role blends expert product knowledge with consultative selling and clienteling to build lasting relationships and loyalty.

You will maintain visual standards, promote the InCircle/loyalty programs, and adapt to evolving business needs while supporting operations and audits in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Commission-based sales experience required.
• Previous retail experience is preferred.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming environment by greeting and approaching customers.
• Recommend merchandise based on product knowledge and customer preferences.
• Demonstrate follow-up on customer requests and commitments.
• Maintain visual and merchandise presentation standards on the selling floor.
• Ensure audit compliance.
• Develop long-term customer relationships.
• Promote loyalty programs and communicate their benefits.
• Utilize clienteling tools to engage with customers.
• Support trunk shows and special events in partnership with store leadership.
