Job summary

Starwood Hotels in Miami Beach seeks a passionate Rooms Training Manager to lead onboarding, training, and development for the Rooms team. You will collaborate with Rooms leadership and People Operations to identify needs and implement effective programs that elevate service and guest experiences.

The ideal candidate brings 4+ years in training roles within luxury hotel operations, strong facilitation, and a dedication to consistent quality across all touchpoints of the guest journey.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years in a comparable training, learning and development, Rooms, or hotel operations role.
• Post-secondary diploma or degree in Hospitality, HR, L&D, or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of luxury hotel operations and training quality assurance.
• Experience with luxury service rating programs (Forbes, FHR, Virtuoso).
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to engage all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, training, and development of the Rooms team in a luxury hotel.
• Identify training opportunities and develop effective learning programs with Rooms leadership and People Operations.
• Measure effectiveness of learning programs using feedback, QA results, and operational metrics.
• Coach, mentor, and provide constructive feedback to support team growth.
• Coordinate multiple training initiatives with strong follow-up and organization.
