Job summary

Diamond Cellar, a longtime luxury jewelry retailer, is seeking a poised receptionist to be the first point of contact in our Columbus store. You will welcome guests, operate the entrance system, handle calls, and direct clients to sales professionals while maintaining client data in our system.

Ideal candidates bring hospitality or luxury retail experience, professional appearance, and strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in reception, hospitality, or luxury retail preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in person and over the phone.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers promptly and warmly, setting the tone for a luxury experience.
• Operate the store entrance system and welcome guests.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous manner.
• Direct clients to the appropriate sales professionals or departments.
• Enter and maintain customer information in the company system.
• Assist Store Directors with administrative tasks as needed.
• Stock, organize, and present beverages and refreshments beautifully.
• Maintain store appearance and guest-ready spaces.
• Assist with opening/closing duties and end-of-day tasks.
• Support sales team to enhance the customer experience.
• Anticipate guest needs and provide proactive service.
• Uphold company standards, brand image, and luxury service expectations.
