Job summary

Hermès Paris is seeking a Selling and Service Assistant for the upcoming Hermès Plaza Del Lago Boutique in Illinois. You will handle front/back office clerical tasks, process transactions, and support CRM and after-sales activities in a fast-paced luxury setting.

A minimum of 1 year retail experience in a luxury environment is preferred, with strong communication and POS/cash-handling skills. The role focuses on maintaining Hermès service standards, organizing stock, and assisting the sales team

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience, luxury environment preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with POS and/or cash handling strongly preferred.
• Customer service oriented with ability to multi-task and stay organized.

Responsibilities

• Accurately record point of sale transactions at the register and assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Provide high levels of service in Hermès standard of service, including greeting, questions, and wrapping assistance.
• Support selling process: hang merchandising, restock, retrieve stock, and prep stock room.
• Maintain organized workstation and selling floor to support sales efforts.
• Assist stockroom operations: replenishment, tagging, ticketing, and inventory prep.
• Support after sales area: logging repairs and maintaining client records.
• Record detailed CRM files with meaningful purchase history and sales analysis.
• Answer phones promptly with friendly customer service.
