Job summary

CoralTree Hospitality Group seeks a seasoned General Manager - Garni for Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale. You will lead the restaurant operation with passion, ensuring five-star service, profitability, and guest satisfaction.

You will recruit and develop the restaurant team, collaborate on menu and wine strategies, and maintain Forbes service standards while managing costs and working a flexible schedule, including travel for trainings and events.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• The ability to react and adjust to changing business environments and lead the team in ensuring efficient financial management of the business.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team of professionals.
• Applicants are required to have at least 4 years experience of fine dining, luxury, or Michelin Star Management Experience.
• Must possess valid Food Handler’s card.
• Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Some travel is required for training, conferences and special events.
• Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees development and implementation of departmental strategies and brand service strategy.
• Ensures the F&B/culinary operation meets brand target customer needs and focuses on revenue growth and financial performance.
• Develops strategies to deliver products and services that exceed customer expectations and provide ROI.
• Leads restaurant team recruitment, development, and retention.
• Collaborates with F&B leadership on menu and wine list design.
• Controls costs through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory and cost control measures.
