Pier Sixty-Six Resort in Fort Lauderdale seeks a seasoned General Manager – Garni to lead the restaurant operation with passion and five-star service. You will report to the Director of Food & Beverage and drive strategies that elevate guest experiences and financial performance.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in fine dining or Michelin-level leadership, excellent communication, deep wine knowledge, and a track record of building high-performing teams in luxury settings.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with a strong, innovative mindset.
• Ability to react to changing business environments and lead the team in financial management.
• Motivate and lead a team of professionals.
• 4+ years in fine dining, luxury, or Michelin Star management.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s card.
• Knowledge of Forbes service standards.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Some travel for training, conferences, and events.
• Advanced wine and spirit knowledge and service training.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the development and implementation of departmental strategies and brand service initiatives.
• Ensures F&B operations meet brand standards, staff satisfaction, and revenue goals.
• Develops strategies to exceed guest expectations and deliver ROI.
• Leads restaurant team recruitment, development and retention.
• Collaborates with F&B leadership on menus and wine lists.
• Controls costs through scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, inventory, and facilities improvements.
• Maintains visibility in operations, recognizing staff and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Demonstrates leadership with integrity, strategic thinking, and strong business acumen.
