Woodfield Country Club in Boca Raton, FL seeks an experienced Sous Chef to lead culinary operations across multiple dining venues, from casual poolside bites to upscale buffets and dinners. The role demands strong culinary and managerial skills, with a focus on high-volume, high-quality service in a luxury resort environment.

The candidate should have prior experience as a la carte chef, excellent leadership and communication abilities, and a culinary degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree preferred; strong culinary and managerial skills are required.
• Experience as a la carte Chef in high-volume, high-quality environments preferred.
• Strong kitchen management and Front of House experience; excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepares or supervises daily preparation of all food items.
• Oversees food production across all club outlets.
• Maintains quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor standards.
• Creates menu specifications with Executive Chef.
• Tastes all items before serving and creates specials.
• Plans weekly production lists and ensures staff adherence to schedules.
• Ensures highest sanitation standards and quality of receiving products.
