Job summary

HEI Hotels and Resorts at Chateau Elan Winery & Resort seeks a guest-focused bartender/server to join our hospitality team. You will maintain bar setup, stock beverages, greet guests warmly, take drink orders, and craft drinks using standard recipes while ensuring accurate cash handling and POS accuracy.

Experience in a hotel setting is preferred. Strong communication, basic math for cash handling, and the ability to stand for long periods are required.

Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and calculating totals.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to prepare garnishes, glassware, and mix drinks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate bar setup and stock.
• Greet guests and take drink orders, promote beverages.
• Mixes, garnishes, and presents drinks using standard recipes.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and corporate alcohol-service requirements.
• Process orders at point of sale and balance cash transactions.
• Contribute to a clean, organized bar area and stock rotation.
