Qualifications

• Hotel experience preferred.
• Must communicate well with guests.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages.
• Basic mathematical skills for cash handling and checks.
• Dexterity to garnish, glassware, stock bottles and ice.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items.
• Operate POS and close out checks with accuracy.
• Stand for long periods and work in confined spaces.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Responsibilities

• Maintains proper and adequate setup of the bar daily, stocking beverages and supplies.
• Stock and garnish fresh fruit, juices, and perishables daily.
• Greet guests, take orders, mix and present drinks per recipes.
• Abide by state, federal and corporate rules for serving alcohol.
• Enter orders into POS, create checks, and balance beverages.
• Handle cash, verify charges, and secure vouchers.
• Lock and store beverage, food, and equipment items; secure cash drops.
• Attend on a regular basis and perform other duties as assigned.
