Job summary

Montage International is seeking a Central Reservations Agent to act as the voice of the hotel, handling guest inquiries and reservations with high hospitality standards. You will input and organize reservation details, manage rooming lists, and respond to inquiries via phone, email, and fax.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least two years in customer service, plus proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years in a customer service role.
• Experience in upscale/luxury hotel setting preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and written communication required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Take guest reservations using proper hotel verbiage and standards.
• Input and organize reservation information; manage rooming lists and requests.
• Answer inbound calls, emails, and faxes; coordinate with sales and front desk.
• Maintain logs of special requests and update PMS/front office systems.
• Upsell hotel rooms to maximize transient revenue per policy.
